OPERA IN THE PADDOCK SET TO AMAZE

Well known opera singer Teddy Tahu Rhodes is set to amaze audiences at Opera in the Paddock. The Inverell event includes a stellar line-up of singers backed by a 22-piece orchestra.

The NSW Government, through Destination NSW, is proud to have secured this exciting event for Regional NSW.

Destination NSW Chief Executive Officer Sandra Chipchase said Opera in the Paddock was an important regional event expected to contribute more than $1.4 million in visitor expenditure to the local region over the next three years.

“Opera in the Paddock is an exciting event on the Regional NSW events calendar. We are proud to support this wonderful event and look forward to welcoming those visitors to New England North West for what will be a truly unique experience,” Ms Chipchase said.

Regional NSW tourism is an important contributor to the State’s overnight visitor economy. In the year ending September 2014, Regional NSW experienced more than 50 million international and domestic visitors, resulting in an economic impact of $13.3 billion.
