Ahhh, the Romantic side of Moab, Utah

Moab Utah has evolved services for couples exploring wedding, honeymoon and anniversary locations. Moab, long known as a tourist destination, proposed Moab for Weddings, Honeymoon or Anniversary and further proclaimed this news at three Bridal/Wedding shows in 2010. And has been developing ideas ever since.

What is in store for a bride and groom choosing Moab? The charm of a haven in the desert, a place to unequivocally enjoy for the outlandish scenery and surprising functionality of bringing loved ones together with little to distract them, but largely excite you for the novelty that is established in choosing Moab, Utah.

Fly to Moab (airport code CNY) to be met by the Moab Taxi or a local shuttle company to transport you to the selected lodging of Moab. For pampering, Moab Licensed Massage Therapists have table and do travel to set up a tandem massage in your suite, cabin, guest house or condominium. Both Moab Spa and Sorrel River Ranch & Spa have a massage room with two tables for a tandem massage too.

Before or after your wedding, during your honeymoon or anniversary, a couple should launch at sunrise in a Hot Air Balloon. Each flight ends with the tale of how hot air ballooning started and a champagne toast. For a romantic dinner, Jeffrey's Steakhouse has an intimate setting. The Sunset Grill is the former home of Moab's Uranium Millionaire and perched high above town on the valley wall with a bird's eye view of the Moab valley. Two additional gorgeous, scenic sites can be enjoyed at either resort along the Colorado River. Both Sorrel River Ranch and Red Cliffs Lodge have nice dining. Red Cliffs Lodge has an onsite winery, providing tastings daily. Or couple dinner with a boat ride, Canyonlands By Night has a pre-dinner cocktail and live Western Entertainment on board or after dinner – after dark – sound and light show, either are accomplished on board a boat.

Moab Utah has a variety of activities. First and foremost, visitors get TWO National Parks from a little Utah resort town. Sightseeing and golfing are easy to accomplish. Try peering through a telescope during the desert dark nights with Red Rock Astronomy for something special too. Add horseback riding, rafting, stand up paddle boarding, bicycling, motorized tours, skydiving or canyoneering for a more robust travel itinerary. Consultations are free to connect you to the relevant businesses and services for your wedding or honeymoon. Phone the Moab Travel Council (435) 259-1340 or email: events@discovermoab.com.
