"A Murder is Announced" will take to the stage this Friday with a wonderful and dedicated cast who have put all their energy into making this a very special show.
I am so proud of each and every one of them.
Come and see what they can do in Mittagong, NSW Australia.
Tickets are available through Tourism Southern Highlands, or at www.htg.org.au or you can try your luck at the door on the night!
Imagine you get up one morning, make yourself toast and a cup of tea and sit down to read the paper. You leisurely turn to the classifieds and scan down the For Sale ads, the Garage Sales, the Public Notices ……. and then you see it. An obscure little entry ……
A murder is announced and will take place on Friday October 13th at Little Paddocks at 6:30pm. Friends accept this, the only intimation.
At first funny, then a little odd you begin to wonder – Is this a joke, perhaps a little macabre, maybe it’s a themed party, it couldn’t be a threat ….. could it? It’s probably just nothing ….. then again?
This is the set up for the Highlands Theatre Group’s latest offering, the Agatha Christie mystery A Murder Is Announced. Fortunately Miss Marple happens to be around to help the characters work it out.
Ironically the play opens in 4 weeks on Friday 13th at the Mittagong Playhouse. Given how busy the holidays can get, why not book it in now so you can just forget about it until the silly season is over! A little bird tells me that this has a very strong cast and that rehearsals are going very well indeed so you should be in for a real Agatha Christie treat! As always, opening night tickets are a steal at just $18* so get in quick! Just call Tourism Southern Highlands 0n 1300 657 559.
