Reed Exhibitions Greater China Ranks Among Best Employers

Reed Exhibitions Greater China (RXGC), the country’s leading exhibition organizer has been selected as a “Beijing Top 30 Employer” in conjunction with “The China Best Employer Award 2014”.

“We are thrilled to be ranked as a Beijing Top employer” says Nat Wong, President of Reed Exhibitions Greater China. “The fact that this is our first time participating in the China Best Employer Award reflects that our on-going drive in talent management is current, comprehensive and competitive. Reed already ranks high amongst leading employers dedicated to nurturing and investing in high-quality talent. This recognition further enhances our focus on value in the exhibitions industry and a further reinforcement to our employees that we take their careers with us seriously.”

The China Best Employer Award 2014 is a joint effort by Corporate Social Responsibility and Employer Brand Communication Research Center of Peking University and Zhaopin.com, a top authority in recruitment and employer branding. Using a scientific research methodology, this annual award is in its third year of competition and occurs at a crucial time as more and more companies are focusing on top talent recruitment and retention.

This year over 3,000 companies were assessed during the first round with results collected via a series of offline and online internal and external surveys. The ensuing results of the top 30 listings by city were summed up in a nationwide public survey and HR questionnaire collected from the top 100 companies and an experts review.

The China Best Employer Award with its “Top 30 Beijing Employer” distinction is a first-
time honor for Reed Exhibitions Greater China and places the spotlight firmly on one of the company’s core values, “Our People”.

In recent years, Reed Exhibitions Greater China has tirelessly invested in talent management empowering its employees at all levels of the career ladder with a comprehensive range of learning and development programs. They include the Reed Management Associate Program (RMAP), Reed Exhibitions China Scholarship, Reed Exhibitions China University and the High Potential Talent Development Program.

Reed’s long-standing tradition of a solid educational foundation has earned several other accolades, one of which was being a top 3 finalist in the “2014 UFI Education Award” under the theme of ‘Best In-House Education Initiative’. UFI is the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry and has long been considered a global barometer for exhibition industry excellence.
