The event’s President James Sweetapple said the region's producers, growers, winemakers and chefs will be creating gastronomic experiences for guests and visitors to enjoy, showcasing the diversity of produce in the region.
“The region's producers and wineries have been presenting Orange F.O.O.D Week for nearly 25 years and get as much enjoyment from it now as we always have,” he said.
“Events such as F.O.O.D Week connect people with our food and wine and the people that grow it. F.O.O.D Week also creates fantastic memories for visitors coming to Orange, so when they are back home or are at the grocer, butcher or bottle shop, they might remember that Orange grows delicious apples, makes great wines and produces a range of products like lamb and venison that they might find on a restaurant menu."
Orange F.O.O.D Week is supported by the NSW Government through DNSW’s Regional Flagship Event Program.
