The streets of Sydney Olympic Park will once again ignite over three days from Friday 6 December to Sunday 8 December for the Sydney 500 V8 Supercars event as the Championship’s leading drivers push the limits at this season’s Grand Finale round.
This race will be the final showdown between Holden and Ford and new manufacturers Nissan and Mercedes AMG as they go head to head for the 2013 Championship trophy.
The Championship battle between Jamie Whincup, Craig Lowndes, Mark Winterbottom and Will Davison will be held on one of Australia’s toughest street circuits and promises to deliver a nail biting finish to the 2013 race calendar.
The new initiative of V8 Supercar twilight racing on Saturday evening for the first time ever at Sydney Olympic Park will further enhance the excitement and appeal of the event.
There will be loads of off track entertainment including the Xtreme Arena with daily performances from Showtime Kawasaki FMX, Stuntz Inc and Flair Freestyle Trials teams. Disney-Pixar Fun Zone will again be host to the life size replica of Mack the Transporter plus a new Pixar precinct featuring Cars, Toy Story, Monsters and Finding Nemo – there’s more family fun than ever before.
Single day entry for the Saturday and Sunday is only $67 (plus booking fee) which includes the Saturday evening twilight racing as well as public transport to and from the event. Kids 12 and under receive free trackside admission entry with a paying adult.
