Christmas Carols at Wollongong

Christmas carols are a special tradition to share with family and friends during the festive holiday.

This year, you are invited to the spectacular Botanic Garden on Saturday 21 December for the ‘City of Wollongong Christmas Carols, presented by McDonalds Illawarra.

This free community celebration will be held from 6.00pm to 9.0pm on the lawn below Gleniffer Brae, with musical performances all evening from The Wollongong Conservatorium of Music. Gates open from 5.00pm. Performers include:

•   City of Wollongong Brass Band
•   BlueScope Youth Orchestra
•   Conservatorium Jazz Ensemble
•   The Con Artists
•   Illawarra Choral Society
•   Bianca and the Disability Trust Music Makers.

LED candles will be available for purchase with proceeds supporting the Friends of Wollongong Botanic Garden. For safety reasons, traditional candles cannot be used. Food and drinks be on sale throughout the evening. Entry is free, however, please register your interest in attending.
