New Year Countdown Celebrations Ring in the New Year Hong Kong Style!

You're sure to feel a rush of adrenalin when you join the hundreds of thousands of revellers along both sides of Victoria Harbour to ring in 2012.

Make a Wish on a Shooting Star:
Every 15 minutes starting at 11pm until 11:45pm, a pyrotechnic display will be launched on the rooftops of the 10 participating buildings to light up the sky with shooting stars.
The stars will come in four colours to symbolise good wishes for four areas:
-Silver for Career
-Green for Health
-Gold for Fortune
-Red for Love

For the first time, the words "Happy New Year" created with pyrotechnic effects will appear above Victoria Harbour. Also, under the theme song of "Soaring Dragons with a Happy Heart", there will be a "golden dragon" circling around the façade of Two ifc before flying into the sky.

The theme song was composed by Mr Chiu Tsang Hei, renowned music producer and composer. From 27 December 2011, the theme music can be downloaded from this webpage or Commercial Radio's HK Toolbar.
