Funding to Promote Upper Hunter Tourism

Upper Hunter Country Tourism has just been given a grant of $23,000 from the Demand Building Fund from Tourism NSW.  This will be matched by another $23,000 given by the Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter Councils.

This funding will be used for the promotion of the unique Upper Hunter region of NSW Australia over the next two years. This will include the production 50,000 copies of the 4th Edition of the “Get Lost” brochure, which will be distributed throughout NS\W, interstate and overseas.

The funding will also be used for an electronic marketing campaign which will reach more than 65,000 people

The Inland Adventure Trail will also be promoted with the funding. This was initiated by Upper Hunter Tourism two years ago, and involves the partnership of the New England Northwest, Warrumbungles, Central West, Barrington Tops Blue Mountains and the Tablelands Way. Funding will be used for an updated brochure and the development of a website for the trail.
