Regional spotlight: Lijiang, China PRC

Lijiang
Formerly the capital of a small kingdom, Lijiang is one of Yunnan’s most popular tourist towns, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and cultural hub of the Naxi people.

Visit the Mu’s Residence, the former royal palace southwest of the Old Town; shop for souvenirs marked with Naxi Dongba hieroglyphs; or take day trips to scenic local destinations like Lugu Lake and the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

This is a beautiful old town to visit. There are any restaurants to choose from. Buildings are beautifully decorated with flowers which make this place a very romantic place to visit.

Lijiang is a stunning UNESCO World heritage site. Having a drink & watching the sunset over the old town lovely way to end a day of sightseeing on your feet
