Driving visitors to the far north pf Australia

Last Friday saw the announcement of a once-in-a-lifetime event being staged on the Great Barrier Reef later this month for Aussie community heroes and to support the tropical north’s tourism industry.

Sheppard and Lee Kernaghan will headline ‘Savannah Sounds on the Reef’, together with Max Jackson and Kairos Kin, as 100 incredible community heroes from around the country watch on from Reef Magic’s state-of-the-art reef pontoon on Saturday 27 April 2024.

This event is supported by the Australian and Queensland Governments as part of Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.

The event aims to promote ticket sales for the up-and-coming country music festival ‘Savannah in the Round’, being held in the Cairns Hinterland at Mareeba 11 - 13 October 2024, which will share its final line-up at the event.
