A BIRD? AN HUMAN BEING? OR A DEMON?

crow tengu
In Niodo Park, a massive 10.9-meter-long statue of a crow tengu has been erected in Japan.

On clear days, visitors can enjoy views of the sea and Mt. Daisen from the park.

The legend of the crow tengu has been passed down through the generations in this area, and the crow tengu, with its divine powers and capacity to fly, has become a familiar symbol of Daisen, a town that values nature and looks forward to the future.

With playground equipment and a grassy area that's popular with kids, the park is a common weekend hangout for many families.
