I was fortunate to stay in this 4.5-star hotel in bustling Parramatta on my recent trip to Sydney. The 194 guest rooms and suites have been totally transformed in the upgrade with fresh and modern amenities. The refurbishment has updated the rooms with a new level of comfort, convenience and sophistication.
The aim of the recent upgrade was to blend chic, urban style with plush textures and soothing colours to create a sense of restfulness and calm. This has certainly been achieved. I enjoyed my stay there - it felt like a home away from home.
I appreciated the cool and contemporary tones and the modern decor of my refurbished room that provided me with an urban haven away from my conference program in Sydney.

My guest room also featured a work desk, individually controlled air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a 42' LCD wall-mounted television with free-to-air, Foxtel channels and Novotel channels.
If I was really keen to get fit I could have accessed the in-room TV channel, InBalance by Novotel with Sally Fitzgibbons to get a gentle workout in the privacy of my room. For a yoga session, I could have contacted reception for a yoga mat to be brought to my room.

The 350 Restaurant & Lounge features fresh flavours in every dish that are created by experienced Executive Chef Kiki's inspiration of Asian-Western fusion cuisine. For my evening meal, I enjoyed my flavoursome Cape Grim Angus Rump fillet with a side of sweet potato fries followed by a delicious Eaton Mess dessert.
In the morning I enjoyed my nourishing buffet breakfast at the 350 Restaurant & Lounge with its wide selection of dishes made with fresh locally sourced ingredients. My full buffet breakfast also included eggs made the way I requested, a fresh fruit & veg juicer and barista-made coffee.
