The Philippine Department of Tourism and the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) once again led the Philippines’ participation in the 39th Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) Tourism Forum (ATF) in Brunei.
The ASEAN Tourism Forum is a cooperative regional effort to promote the ASEAN region as one tourist destination. With this year’s theme of “ASEAN: TOGETHER TOWARDS A NEXT GENERATION OF TRAVEL”, ASEAN member nations aim to recognize the need to keep pace with the dynamics and demands of changing travel patterns, demographics, behaviours, and preferences.
Visitors to the Philippine booth had the opportunity to get to know more about Philippine destinations from TPB, Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), and Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) officials as well as representatives from eight (8) properties/hotels and five (5) travel agencies/tour operators in the Philippines.
ATF 2020 ran from 12-16 January at the Brunei Darussalam International Defense and Exhibition Conference (BRIDEX), Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.
