Brunei is the host country for ATF 2020.

Located North of Borneo, Brunei is one of the world’s most prosperous countries, yet one of the smallest.

Its bustling capital Bandar Seri Begawan is responsible for the production of furniture, textiles, handicrafts and timber – key economic drivers of the nation’s wealth. 

The destination thrives in its tropical climate with an abundance of lush forests and beautiful beaches. 

There is much to see while in Brunei and that would include, the iconic Kampong Ayer settlement, the upbeat Gadong area and the architectural marvel that is the Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque.

People & Culture

• Population: 434,076 (as of 2018)
• Ethnic Makeup: Malays (65.7%) are the majority people of the land with Chinese forming 10% of the population. Other races represent over 20%.
• Religion and Belief: Islam (most widely practised), Buddhism and Christianity are the three main religions in Brunei.
