The World Time Attack Challenge, a time trial and motoring festival featuring some of the world’s fastest cars, to be held in Western Sydney this weekend will remain at Sydney Motorsport Park until 2017.
Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events and Minister for Sport Stuart Ayres said, “The World Time Attack Challenge is a unique motoring event, and has grown significantly since its launch in 2010. This year’s Challenge features a line-up that includes time trial racing, high performance driving demonstrations, exhibitions of modern and classic cars and activities for motoring fans of all ages,” Mr Ayres said.
“It will have a huge impact on the local visitor economy, with an estimated visitor spend of more than $15 million over the next three years.
“The 2015 Challenge will be held this weekend, and I encourage all motoring fans to head to Sydney Motorsport Park and be a part of this fantastic event.”
The World Time Attack Challenge joins other upcoming Western Sydney events including the AUS-X Open Supercross, the Ironman 70.3 and the V8 Supercars Sydney 500.
