Chambers wowed the audience with an exclusive acoustic performance of 'Not Pretty Enough' and a Central Coast inspired song penned specially for the evening. Chambers was accompanied on stage by the local talented duo, Grizzlee Train.

Australian singer, song writer, story teller and local resident, Kasey Chambers, knew during her first visit to the coast in the early 90s that 'this would be the place I would call home'.
International Rugby Union Player and reigning Central Coast Rugby 7's ambassador, Adam Ashley-Cooper, was born and raised on the coast and no matter where he is in the world - Sydney, London or Paris, is 'proud and honoured to say that I am from the Central Coast'.
Central Coast Tourism's Chief Executive Officer, Robyne Abernethy endorsed the choice of ambassadors 'we are delighted this year to have two internationally renowned locals, each achieving prominence in their chosen field – music and sport.
'Our ambassadors were chosen not only because they have a genuine bond with the region, but are also actively involved with the local community.'
Coinciding with the announcement of the ambassadors, the 2016 Official Visitor Guide to the Central Coast was released. The bumper 72 page edition is a key planning tool for anyone spending their valuable leisure time on the coast. The guide includes four themed 'Fun Planners' and Visitor Experience Offers at a selected range of accommodation, activities and dining providers.
