A25 Hotel- a charming Vietnamese hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

There is a wide choice of hotels to stay in when visiting Ho Chi Minh City. There are many world class 5 star hotels and plenty of smaller local Vietnamese hotels. These are usually tall and skinny, being one room wide and about five stories high.

The first hotel I stayed at when I went to Vietnam earlier this year was one of the chain of A25 hotels. My A25 hotel was centrally located in District 1 at 35 Mac Thi Buoi street. It is just a short walk to the many shops, markets and cafes nearby.

The entry lobby is on street level, so there is no struggling up stairs with cases. A small area for parking motorbikes is at the front of the lobby, and the reception desk at the rear. Checkin went smoothly with good English speaking staff. The lift took me up to my large room on the 3rd floor.

The bedroom contained a comfortable large queen sized bed with good linen, bedside tables and lamps, safe, TV and wardrobes.

The room was very quite, with no noise coming from the surrounding streets or other hotel rooms.

It was kept cool by a fan and air conditioner. Free WiFi kept me in contact with the outside world.

The seperate bathroom had a shower, toilet and vanity basin.

Art prints adorned the walls, and flower arrangements were on the tables. A wall clock showed the correct time. Everything was very clean.

A restaurant on the top of the hotel on the 5th floor provided a simple breakfast each day, with a complimentary choice of one hot food item and one drink from the menu included in the stay.

The A25 hotel is very reasonably priced and in an excellent location in Ho Chi Minh City.
