SEVEN BRIDGES WALK RAISES FUNDS FOR CANCER

The annual Cancer Council NSW Seven Bridges Walk will hit an important milestone this month – its 10 year anniversary. Held around Sydney Harbour the event provides a unique opportunity for people of all ages to get active, raise money for cancer and experience some of Sydney’s most spectacular views.

Participants can walk all, or part of the 26.2km clockwise course, which crosses the seven iconic bridges of Sydney Harbour including Sydney Harbour Bridge, Pyrmont Bridge, ANZAC Bridge, Iron Cove Bridge, Gladesville Bridge, Tarban Creek Bridge and Fig Tree Bridge.

Walkers can start and finish at any of the seven villages around the course. The event opens at 7am and closes at 4.30pm. There are free special event buses, courtesy of Transport for NSW, to return participants to their starting point if they don’t want to walk the entire route.

The event will be held on Sunday 25 October. Visit 7bridgeswalk.com.au to register or sponsor a walker.
