New Zealand is the destination for the season finale of Network TEN’s premiere series of The Bachelorette Australia.

Australia’s Bachelorette Sam Frost, will make her first ever visit to New Zealand to spend time with the final two lucky men.

The bachelors will experience the romance of New Zealand’s North Island as they explore the geothermal wonderland of Rotorua and absorb the excitement of New Zealand’s largest city, Auckland.

Home to a myriad of experiences, Rotorua presents a majestic backdrop for Sam to discover with one suitor. Testing the adventurous nature of her potential future partner, Sam will take one date on a whirlwind white water rafting trip before indulging in Rotorua’s thermal luxury.

Auckland follows, providing a spectacular location for The Bachelorette’s final date. The couple will take to the skies in style, travelling by seaplane to Waiheke Island before enjoying views back to the cosmopolitan city of Auckland.

Sam’s family from Melbourne will join her in New Zealand to meet the final two contestants. Sam will then choose ‘the one’ at the final Rose Ceremony at a secluded Auckland location - a place of unparalleled natural beauty only 45 minutes’ drive from central Auckland.

Reflecting on her trip, Sam Frost said New Zealand literally took her breath away.

“I absolutely loved it. New Zealand is stunning! I couldn't get over how gorgeous it was.

“All of the people in NZ were so lovely & welcoming and there is still so much more I want to explore”, Sam said.

Tourism New Zealand General Manager, Australia, Tony Saunders said we’re thrilled to have the first ever Bachelorette Australia finale filmed in Aotearoa.

“Rotorua is rich with natural wonders; offering cultural, adventure and premium experiences. Whether couples are after romance, stunning scenery, or world-class luxury, there’s something for everyone.

“Auckland’s a vibrant city surrounded by beautiful harbours, idyllic islands, breathtaking coastlines and acclaimed wine regions.

“The accessibility of the North Island and its diverse landscapes made it possible to film so many incredible scenes for the finale in a short amount of time.

“Australia is a priority market for Tourism New Zealand and we’re confident the season finale will inspire viewers to make the short trip across the Tasman.”

Air New Zealand's General Manager Australia, Leanne Geraghty says it was fantastic to partner with Tourism New Zealand to bring The Bachelorette Australia to New Zealand.

"It was our pleasure to fly Sam, the finalists and crew to New Zealand as the official airline partner and have them experience our unique kiwi hospitality first hand."

New Zealand is the only international destination to be showcased throughout The Bachelorette Australia series, which has seen record ratings. The season finale airs on Network TEN on Thursday, 22 October at 7.30pm AEDT.

The final episode will be supported with social media activity and a consumer promotion in conjunction with Network TEN.
