Kumon are offering the chance to win tickets to the Royal Shakespeare Company’s award-winning production of Matilda The Musical and an all-expenses paid, two-night stay in London for a family of four.
As part of their two-month Summer Festival of Reading, which celebrates all things literary, Kumon are hosting an exciting competition for all UK children throughout August 2015.
To enter, children ages five to 16 should visit kumon.co.uk/competition and download a storyboard, to illustrate where reading could take them, accompanied by 250 words.
The fantastic prize is particularly fitting as this much loved Roald Dahl story features on the Kumon Recommended Reading List.
Kumon offer maths and English study programmes for children of all ages and abilities. Through daily study, Kumon aims for each and every child develop the confidence and ability to study independently, with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude. There are over 69,000 students experiencing success through the Kumon programmes across the UK, though this exciting competition is open to all children.
Natalie Bailey, Brand Relationship Manager for Kumon UK explains: “We are launching this competition to promote the power of a child’s imagination as a result of reading, whether that is down the rabbit hole with Alice or plunging into a universe of paranoid androids, translating fish and the impossibly named Improbability Drive of The Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Ultimately we want children’s imaginations to run wild and by doing so encourage as many young people as possible to discover the many benefits of reading for pleasure.”
