In July, a resident orca put on an unforgettable display for a group of tourists.
The male killer whale, known to those in the area as Augie, was intent on ensuring all the attention was firmly on him as he playfully jumped in and out of the water several times.
Humpback whales have also been visiting the region on their annual migration along Australia's Coral Coast.
