AccorHotels continues the rapid expansion of its upscale Pullman brand with the announcement of key rebrandings in Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, adding a further 927 rooms to the network in Asia.
The new hotels are the Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre (formerly the Prince Hotel & Residence), which joined the network on 1 August and the Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit (formerly the Millennium Sukhumvit Bangkok), which joined on 3 August 2015.
“We are very excited to add these much-loved hotels to the fast-growing Pullman network,” said Michael Issenberg, Chairman and CEO AccorHotels Asia Pacific. “Since launching in 2008, the Pullman brand has really struck a chord with owners as a hotel that appeals to today's connected and sophisticated traveller.
“The number of high-profile hotels that have rebranded to Pullman in recent months including The Park Lane Hong Kong, the former Hilton on the Park in Melbourne and now these two properties, is testament to the brand's ability to meet the needs of today's 'global nomads'.”
The Pullman brand has really found its place in the hotel sector, striking the perfect balance between performance and enjoyment, business and leisure, with a focus on keeping guests connected.
Perfectly located in the heart of the trendy Bukit Bintang district, the Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre offers 445 spacious hotel rooms and 157 serviced apartments, boasting spectacular views of the city skyline.
The Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre Hotel & Residences boasts a superb location and excellent facilities, modern rooms, panoramic views, fitness centre, kids club and outdoor pool. With Pullman having a strong focus on balanced food and beverage offerings, the hotel will feature six dining outlets from a casual coffee lounge and poolside terrace grill to Japanese and Chinese fine dining and will boast world-class meeting facilities including a 580 sqm metre grand ballroom and 11 meeting rooms.
The Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit features a highly visible sail-shaped glass façade, a range of room styles from deluxe rooms to executive suites and a presidential suite as well as 2 restaurants, a deli lounge, a cocktail bar, outdoor pool, well-equipped gym and extensive spa. There are also great facilities for functions or celebrations, with ten meeting rooms including a pillarless grand ballroom for up to 500 guests.
Pullman is a brand of stylish, upscale hotels with a contemporary vibe, innovative technology, high quality meeting spaces and best-in-class business and fitness facilities.
In Asia Pacific alone, Pullman has a strong pipeline of over 40 hotels in the next few years and will continue to expand aggressively. Pullman is now the largest five-star hotel brand in Australia and the fastest-growing AccorHotels brand in China, reflecting its popularity in the region.
The addition of these two hotels will bring the Pullman network to 57 hotels in Asia Pacific, joining a global network which aims to reach 100 hotels by the end of the year.
As part of the rebranding, both hotels will undergo improvements to their product and services to meet exacting global Pullman standards.
