The 11th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2015

ITE 2015 is expected to attract about 220 international buyers (international tour operators from the source markets); 100 regional buyers (tour operators of five countries of Viet Nam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand); and 25,000 visitor arrivals. For international hosted buyer program, this year’s ITE-HCMC will concentrate on the quality and effectiveness of activities, invite prestigious international tour operators, mainly in source markets such as North Europe, South Asia, ASEAN, North America, Japan, Australia, Russia, Middle East. Along with the international hosted buyer program, the regional hosted buyer program is also interested in planning to boost the outbound market of the region.

In the framework of ITE-HCMC 2015, many exciting activities will be held, such as the arts program “Viet Nam’s night” in the opening ceremony on 9 September 2015; Mekong Tourism Alliance Awards; photo exhibition “Beauty of ASEAN Community”; International Buyer and Press Program; Mekong – Japan tourism forum; culture exchanges of “Cambodia’s night”, “Thailand’s night”, Phillipines lunch; agendas of ministries, mayors, VIP guests from the countries participating in ITE-HCMC 2015; destination presentations of 5 countries (Viet Nam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand) for international buyers and press; seminar on introducing the source markets of India, Indonesia; seminar on introducing the European market (including 5 countries has just exempted visa requirements to Viet Nam, namely the United Kingdom, the French Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Kingdom of Spain and the Italian Republic)…, and many workshops is hosted by VNAT, such as: workshop on “Viet Nam’s tourism brand strategy by 2020”, workshop on tourist source markets to Viet Nam…

Besides, many attractive activities for consumers will also take place, such as: promotional programs, airfare discounts and lucky draw; consumers’ tourism festival; art performances of Mekong Sub-region’s countries…
