A Happy Perth-day!
We're going daily to Perth!
Scoot, Asia/Pacific's Best Low Cost Airline[1], is pleased to announce on the first anniversary of its Singapore to Perth route, an increase to daily services from 1st February 2015.
This follows hot-on-the-heels of Scoot announcing Melbourne as its fourth Australian destination and underscores Scoot's commitment to Australia.
Said Campbell Wilson, CEO of Scoot, “Having flown close to 150,000 guests to and from Perth, we're thrilled with the fantastic response to this route in the past 12 months. Our increased frequency gives everyone a greater choice in visiting either Western Australia or indeed Singapore any day of the week. Furthermore, guests traveling from Perth can enjoy an even greater choice of destinations and seamless connections beyond Singapore on either Scoot or our partner airline Tigerair.”
“I'm also pleased to announce that starting in early 2015, Perth will be the inaugural destination for our 787 Dreamliner. The 787 is a game changer for Scoot and reinforces our commitment to being the best Long Haul Low Cost Airline. Scoot's 787s will deliver better comfort, a wider selection of amenities including on-board Wi-Fi, while enabling us to maintain our great value airfares so our guests can get outta here more often,” added Campbell.
“Perth Airport is delighted by Scoot's decision to increase their services from Perth to Singapore. As the fourth busiest international route in Australia, with more than one million passengers per year, additional services and the introduction of the Dreamliner (B787-9) in 2015, offer great options for Western Australians wanting to explore Singapore and beyond,” said Brad Geatches, Chief Executive Officer Perth Airport.
