ALL ABOARD THE 2015 PARKES ELVIS EXPRESS!

Jailhouse Rockers, Hound Dogs and Bossa Nova Babes, get ready! On Monday September 15, the 2015 program will be launched at Hotel Gracelands, Parkes, back where it all started, and this year's festival is set to be bigger than ever before.

To get you from Sydney to Parkes safely, Parkes Elvis Festival and NSW TrainLink are proud to present the NSW TrainLink Elvis Express. Tickets go on sale through NSW TrainLink only on 13 28 29 at 10am on the day of the program launch, Monday 15 September 2014. In past years tickets have sold out in a matter of 20 minutes! So have your phones and credit cards at the ready to secure your seat and get ready to wave goodbye to Sydney for the weekend!

Held over five days from Wednesday 7 to Sunday 11 January, the 23rd annual Parkes Elvis Festival has a rocking program of more than 120 individual shows and events. Not only will the 2015 festival be celebrating Elvis Presley’s 80th birthday, the festival theme is the 1964 Elvis film Roustabout, creating a colourful carnival atmosphere to commemorate this special milestone.

In 2015 the ClubsNSW Keno Feature Concert Series guest artist is the internationally acclaimed Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Justin Shandor. US-born Justin Shandor will perform four fantastic shows at Parkes Leagues Club across the festival weekend.

Parkes Shire Council Mayor Ken Keith will launch the 2015 program and unveil the new festival brand, including a new website, at 11am Monday 15 September. Mayor Keith will officially announce the opening of ticket sales to the Festival shows, events and services, including the ever-popular NSW TrainLink Elvis Express. The new-look Festival website will go live at 9am that day.
