The weekend will bring together some of Australia's most noted photographers: Wayne Quilliam, Wayne Sorensen, Grenville Turner, plus photographic folio, food and social media authority, Sally Brownbill. A series of enlightening, informative workshops and tours will be held, catering to both beginners and those more advanced, covering topics such as camera and lighting techniques, post-production, portraiture, landscape and food photography.
Gearing up to be the culinary highlight of the weekend is Tastes of the Outback, an exclusive outdoor dining experience with a contemporary bush-tucker-inspired menu by Mark Olive, aka the Black Olive. Mark will also host a culinary masterclass as part of the event, showcasing indigenous ingredients, such as native basil and thyme, lemon myrtle, river mint, wattle seed, quandong, lemon aspen and muntrie berries.
The best photographs taken over the course of the weekend will be entered into a competition in the categories of Landscape, Spirit, and Taste, with the prize-winners announced at a gala dinner along with a showcase of the weekend in photographs.
