A large number of families are flocking to Modhesh World , from as
early as 10am every day, to participate in Angry Birds Universe, the
world’s first interactive experience based on the globally renowned
entertainment concept.
The successful world premiere of the Angry Birds Universe Interactive
Experience at Modhesh World at Dubai World Trade Centre, has been
enticing families and children to be a part of this one-of-a-kind event,
and enjoy a variety of thrilling activities.
The unique zone, themed as ‘The Art and Science Behind a Global
Phenomenon’, is a main Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) event, and is being
organized in collaboration with Rovio and Imagine Exhibitions, and will
be open for visitors until 8 September .
Families and friends have been visiting the Angry Birds Universe zone
to experience numerous activities such as the ‘Bamboo Forest’ where
guests can see the Angry Birds, walking among the bamboo stalks and
explore what make the birds unique; ‘Cobalt Plateaus’ where guests can
build their cars and race it on a variety of tracks, just like in ‘Angry
Birds GO’; and ‘The City’ where they can build structures and shoot a
real slingshot and knock them down, as well as testing techniques that
they used every day in engineering and building construction. Visitors
can also visit the ‘Cave Studio’ where they will have the privilege to
know what it’s like to design artwork, animation and music for Angry
Birds games and cartoons; the ‘Crown Mountains’ where guests have the
chance to be the bird, climb the mountain and fly through the sky just
like their favorite Angry Bird characters and the ‘Space’ zone that will
welcome guests to the world of constellations, lasers, and rockets.
“My daughters love Angry Birds and they are genuine fans of these
characters, starting from the games on the tablet to the cartoons and to
the different apparels that they have, they just love it!” said Freye,
mother of Sofia and Willow.
“My favorite bird is the Stella, the pink one and I am delighted to
see her here, I am also happy to see how they eat and drink and fly!” 6
year-old Sofia said. Willow, her sister loves everything about Angry
Birds Universe. “I have no favorites because I love them all,” says
Willow, a 4-year-old fan.
Karen, mother of Flynn and Austin, 6 years old and 3 years old
respectively, said her children are loyal fans of Angry Birds and they
love the wall climbing experience. “I like the pulley power as well and
my favorite Angry Birds are ‘The Blues’, they are just so funny and
energetic!” said Flynn.
Modhesh World is celebrating its 15th edition this year by hosting a
wide array of events and experiences in Halls 3-8 at Dubai World Trade
Centre. The region’s popular family edutainment destination will be open
until 8 September from 10am to 10pm, Saturday to Wednesday; 10am to
midnight on Thursday; 3pm to midnight on Friday. Ticket prices are AED
15 for children and AED 10 for adults, while children below the age of 3
go in for free.
