September specials at Falls Creek up to 50% off!!!‏

After significant snow falls throughout July and August there's plenty of snow at Falls Creek until it closes its ski lifts in late September. That's the first bit of good news. The next is even better!! Between the late August and the concluding days (and nights) there's some huge discounts at quintessential Falls Creek ski lodges such as Trackers and Pretty Valley. Plus the Falls Creek County Club is also offering heavily discounted accommodation until the end of the ski season.

September is always a reliable month at this alpine resort and could be the best time to learn to ski or snowboard. It is less crowded, more enjoyable (if you prefer warmer days) and the resort's groomer operators continue to provide a multitude of snow-covered slopes suitable for everyone for the first timer to the gun skiers and boarders.

Pretty Valley Lodge has affordable September packages that include just about everything. From Sunday 7 -12 September two nights/three days midweek cost $480 per adult & $360 per child under 14. Its even less between 21- 26 September two nights/three days midweek - $440 per adult & $330 per child under 14.

The above tariffs include breakfast/lunch & dinner daily, snowsports hire equipment including skis/boots/poles or snowboard & boots as well as jackets/pants & helmets. The prices are based on 4-6 share rooms.

Trackers Mountain Lodge first opened in 1977. It is a classic Falls Creek lodge experience that caters exclusively for in-house guests and serves a seven course degustation meal four nights a week. Thursday night is an early comfort meal of Osso Bucco so that guests can head out to watch the night show then they head back to the lodge for a hot supper and schnapps.

Monday night is 80's night where guests are treated to some retro faves..Dress up is optional but a lot of fun. Wednesday night at the lodge is Christmas with eggnog, traditional Christmas shared platters (much better suited to a snowy backdrop than an Australian summer) and Santa visits with presents for all the children staying in house. Kids are well catered for with a early meal for them at 6:00pm and then a babysitter looks after them in the games room whilst parents relax over dinner.
