When we think of travelers we causally think of people globe trotting form one country to another. Dr Who is unique in that he travels not only around the world, but also around the universe and through time.
The BBC has produced a special 50th Anniversary Dr Who episode - "The Day of the Doctor" to mark the occasion, and this will be screened in many countries round the world.
Even Google has joined in the anniversary celebration by placing a Dr Who mini-game on its home-page on the U.K., Australia and New Zealand. Internet users cam select one of the eleven Doctors to retrieve all 6 letters of the word Google and return them to the Tardis, the flying phone booth that Dr Who uses for his travels.
