Leading Asian hospitality group Dusit International was recognised this month for its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts by the Stock Exchange of Thailand and the Corporate Social Responsibility Institute as part of the Global Reporting Initiative.
In a ceremony held at the Exhibition Hall of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Building on 11 November 2013, Mr. Chamnarnsil Chamnarnkit, Dusit International’s Senior Vice President of Finance, received the CSRI Recognition 2013 award from Mr. Punsak Vejanurug, Academic Advisor of the Corporate Social Responsibility Institute.
To be considered for the award, the company had to provide a comprehensive CSR report detailing its economic, social and environmental management and operational policies and activities during 2012. In conjunction with the company’s global expansion and selling of goods and services responsibly with the impact on society and the environment in mind, Dusit International is committed to operate on the basis of long term development by its synchronized approach of connecting business progress with those of society and the environment.
