Malaysia Airlines Celebrates Cabin Crew Graduation

A total of 35 cabin crew from batch 11 & 12 of 2013 graduated and celebrated the completion of their three months ‘Initial Cabin Crew Training’ programme, at Malaysia Airlines Academy, Kelana Jaya in October.

Batch 11 and 12 were the 198 newly recruited cabin crew for year 2013.

At the graduation, Malaysia Airlines Head of Inflight Services, Hayati Dato’ Ali said, “Our graduates will be a part of our Malaysia Airlines family and will be continuing our commitment to deliver exemplary service and Malaysian Hospitality to our guests.

“Malaysia Airlines Academy has given the training that has propelled our cabin crew to be an international icon. Our cabin crew have won several accolades in the past years and we will aim to win more awards in the years to come,” she said.

Hayati added, “With our new routes and increased frequencies, Malaysia Airlines cabin crew annual intake has grown from 3338 to 3553 crew to accommodate these on-going service enhancements.”

Among those in attendance were Malaysia Airlines’ Chief Pilot, Line Operations, Captain Shahrom Basri and Malaysia Airlines’ Senior Manager Human Resources, Mohamad Zaidi Abdul Rahman as well as trainers from Inflight Services and Flight Safety.

Also at the graduation were the graduates’ family members as well as loved ones who came to celebrate this special occasion.

Meanwhile, two special awards were given to each batch during the graduation, for the Best Exam Results and Overall Best Trainee.

The graduation ended with a few performances from the graduates like Bosanova, Thai Pop, Hawaiian Dance and Ngajat Tampi.
