Participate in ‘Wheres The Panda’ by Qatar Airways and Win Exciting Prizes

To celebrate the upcoming launch of non-stop flights from Doha to Chengdu, China, Qatar Airways has unveiled its newest social media contest Wheres The Panda. The grand prize winner will receive return tickets onboard Qatar Airways award-winning Business Class to Chengdu, luxury limousine transfers, and a stay at the luxurious 5-star Shangri-La Hotel, Chengdu.

Qatar Airways is offering three lucky winners the chance to experience the wonders of Chengdu, China in 5-star fashion in the airline’s fifth China Gateway destination. The inspiration for the contest came from the fact that Chengdu is home to the largest artificial Panda breeding project in the world, protected in one of two very popular Panda sanctuaries.

Qatar Airways is also giving its fans that enter the contest the opportunity to customize their personal Facebook and Twitter profiles with an exclusive badge to share their love of pandas. The contest runs between 1st and 31st August and is open to residents throughout Africa, The Americas, Europe, and the Middle East, where legal. Contest goers can enter the contest in English, Arabic, and French.

Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, one of the world’s premier hotel companies, currently owns and/or manages 81 hotels under the Shangri-La brand with a room inventory of over 34,000. Over four decades the group has established its brand hallmark of ‘hospitality from the heart.’ The group has a substantial development pipeline with upcoming projects in mainland China, India, Mongolia, Philippines, Qatar, Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom.

No purchase is necessary and its contests are void where prohibited.

Qatar Airways has seen rapid growth in just 16 years of operations, currently flying a modern fleet of 127 aircraft to 128 key business and leisure destinations worldwide.

Qatar Airways has so far launched six destinations this year – Gassim (Saudi Arabia), Najaf (Iraq), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Chicago (USA), Salalah (Oman) and Basra (Iraq).
