The Star Showcases an Endless Array of Flexible Options at the Australian Business Events Expo 2013

After what has been a record breaking six months since The Star completed its redevelopment, the team will take the lead at the upcoming Australian Business Events Expo 2013 hosting VIP Buyers on their first night in Sydney at the Expo’s inaugural VIP Welcome Dinner.

Over 100 hosted event buyers from across Australia will join The Star Sales Team at The Star Event Centre, 14 August 2013, to enjoy a three course feast designed by The Star’s Chefs.

On site at the show, taking place 14-15 August 2013 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, The Star Sales Team will showcase the flexibility of event spaces across The Star including the recently opened multi-purpose Event Centre.

Having hosted a variety of conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, breakfast events, seminars, product launches and media gatherings, The Star Event Centre has filled a gap in Sydney’s convention and banqueting market with only nine event-free days in the month of July.

The industry has welcomed the addition of The Star Event Centre to Sydney in 2013, as Lyn Lewis-Smith, Chief Executive Officer, Business Events Sydney commented. “The Event Centre is a stunning platform for all styles of business and special events from intimate gatherings to large scale conferences and exhibitions and everything in between. Located on the iconic harbour foreshore, the venue offers both domestic and international event attendees a new and truly unique Sydney experience,” said Ms Lewis-Smith.

Exhibiting at stand E28 at the Australian Business Events Expo, The Star Sales Team will lead the charge as home to Sydney’s newest multi-purpose event venues taking visitors on a virtual tour of the various flexible event spaces.

The Star Sales Team led by General Manager Sales and Marketing, Jakki Temple alongside Amanda Lovett, Megan Parker and Samantha Hammond invite members of the business events industry to visit them at stand E28 for a chance to win.
