Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau: Elevating Business Events on a Global Scale

Since its establishment in 2009 by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) has played a crucial role in strengthening the country’s position as a premier destination for international business events. As a central hub for meeting and event planners, MyCEB provides expert guidance, support, and resources to bid for and host world-class conferences, exhibitions, and incentive programs in Malaysia.

MyCEB's mission is to position Malaysia as a world leader in business, cultural, and hallmark events, driving both social and economic transformation across the country. With a strong focus on international recognition, the bureau actively works to improve Malaysia’s ranking within the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) while increasing business tourism arrivals.

In 2021, MyCEB launched the Malaysia Business Events Strategic Marketing Plan 2021-2030, a forward-thinking blueprint designed to enhance Malaysia’s global competitiveness. This plan is built on three key strategic pillars: optimisation, foresight, and competitiveness. These principles guide the bureau’s collaborative efforts with industry stakeholders, ensuring that Malaysia remains at the forefront of the global business events landscape.

With state-of-the-art venues, a thriving economy, and seamless accessibility, Malaysia continues to attract international conferences, corporate summits, and major exhibitions. As a business events powerhouse in Asia, MyCEB’s commitment to innovation and excellence ensures that every event hosted in Malaysia is not just successful but truly unforgettable.

Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) showcased its world-class business events capabilities at AIME 2025, the premier trade event for the meetings and incentives industry in the Asia-Pacific region. As a key participant, MyCEB aimed to connect with global event planners, industry leaders, and potential partners to highlight Malaysia’s diverse offerings for business events. Visitors to the MyCEB exhibit  explored the country’s state-of-the-art convention centers, unique incentive travel experiences, and comprehensive support programs designed to enhance international conferences, exhibitions, and corporate events. By exhibiting at AIME 2025, MyCEB continued to position Malaysia as a dynamic and competitive destination in the global MICE landscape.
