Hever in History at Hever Castle, Kent

Hever Castle & Gardens stages its Hever in History festival during the August bank holiday weekend.

There will be living history encampments and crafts, cooking, and battle displays from the Middle Ages to the 20th Century.

There is the procession of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, along with falconry displays from Birds of Prey Willow Centre.

The annual Summer Jousting Tournament, which runs on selected dates in July and August, will be coming to a close for the season.

The 13th century Hever Castle was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, who became the second of Henry VIII’s six wives. AllWays Traveller to Hever Castle
