Getting to San Francisco
The Capitol Corridor train serves 18 stations along a 170-mile route between Auburn/Sacramento and San Jose.

It includes dedicated bus connections to extend its service to many more great destinations, including San Francisco. You have three options for getting into San Francisco after your ride on the Capitol Corridor:
  • Dedicated Bus: From Emeryville, a dedicated Capitol Corridor bus connection transports Capitol Corridor train passengers into San Francisco, stopping downtown at Salesforce Plaza. Check schedules here.
  • BART*: Passengers can use Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) at the Richmond Station or Oakland Coliseum Station to connect to the Capitol Corridor. Check BART schedules, routes, and fares here. BART fares may be paid with a Clipper card, available for purchase on board Capitol Corridor trains in the Cafe Car.
  • Ferry*: From Oakland's Jack London Square, take the San Francisco Bay Ferry for a more relaxed and scenic journey.*
