Get up close with fluffy and photogenic foxes at Zao Fox Village, located high up in the snow-covered mountains of Miyagi Prefecture. 

Depending on the season, there are opportunities to hold fox cubs, and you can buy small bags of treats to feed them at the feeding pen. 

You can also walk among the foxes as they freely roam around in this large forest preserve – some can be seen sleeping in the mini shelters. 

There is also a gift shop with lots of fox-themed souvenirs!
