Evolve 2019 – the premier annual event for meetings industry professionals – will provide an opportunity for attendees to listen to what the future holds through the eyes of the future leaders of the Australian events industry.
Meeting & Events Australia (MEA) is delighted to announce some of the fabulous speakers who will be presenting within the Future Leaders track at Evolve2019.
MEA has appointed three Future Leaders as the ‘Track Champions’ for these important conference sessions – Ashleigh Cooper from Trippas White Group, Jessica Christy from Harry the hirer and Zac Leach from Pullman Bunker Bay Resort.
With their input, MEA has designed three sessions targeted at those seeking to fast-track their professional careers and enhance their leadership skills. “The presenters in the Future Leaders’ track are all high achievers in their respective fields and they are keen to share their personal stories, their tips for success, and how they dealt with some of the challenges that have confronted them along the way”, said MEA CEO Robyn Johnson.
Featuring sessions entitled ‘The City that Never Sleeps’ and the ‘Virtual Realm’, the Future Leaders track is strategically crafted content delivered by up and coming professionals who have already made their mark. A must-attend for all delegates seeking to stay ahead in our highly competitive industry, the line-up of speakers and topics in this track stretches from New York, to Darwin and Bunker Bay.
It includes a presentation from a panel of Future Leaders on their insights as young professionals, how they achieve work-life balance, and how we can all leverage emerging technologies – focusing on what the future of events looks like from their unique perspective.
We will hear from three ex-pats about their experiences working on events in New York, the city that never sleeps. They’ll talk about the differences in staging events in the US and highlight some of the latest trends.
A Virtual Reality team building challenge – ‘The Infinite Loop’ presented by Be Challenged – has been designed to create a positive mindset, gain an understanding of the importance of communicating effectively, and explore how to be confident but also aware of your own self and personal style.
“MEA strongly supports our emerging event professionals. It’s critical for the future of our industry that we engage with this talented and enthusiastic group and encourage them to form strong industry relationships, which is ideally achieved through MEA membership and attendance at our events” concluded Ms Johnson, “We can all learn from them as they learn from their more experienced industry peers”.
