HOSHINOYA Kyoto is a ryokan, or Japanese hot spring resort, with 25 rooms that opened in December 2009. Our ryokan offers customers the comfort of their own vacation home while adding a taste of the extraordinary. Take a boat ride up the Oigawa River to the famous sites of Arashiyama, just 15 minutes from Togetsukyo Bridge. The 100 year old property is designed in the concept of ‘A picturesque nobles’ retreat in the millennial city of Kyoto’.
