A Silk Road-themed exhibition, “From Luoyang to Hexi Corridor,” opened at the Luoyang Museum in Luoyang City, in central China’s Henan province on Sunday. The exhibition showcases more than 120 cultural relics from museums in Henan and Gansu provinces, including porcelain, bronze ware and jade articles.
These cultural relics vividly reflect the trade contacts between the central China and the western regions in ancient times. A set of mounted guards of honor in bronze from the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25-220) and unearthed in Gansu province is among the many artifacts in the exhibition.
