In fact, one of the popular tours for wine connoisseurs to do when visiting Mooloolaba Beach is the Sunshine Coast Wine trail.
The Sunshine Coast is a truly beautiful region of beachside towns and well as lush tropical hinterland, much of it formed upon prehistoric volcanic soils, perfect for grape wine cultivation and viticulture because of its diverse soils rich in nutrients and minerals; and perfect for all sorts of species of plants.

The Blackall Range is filled with rich basalts, which can support subtropical rainforest; moving through here and heading down northward and closer to sea level and the coastline, where climates are more mild, reaching the town of Traveston.

Mystic Mountain Tours for example offers a One Day Tour which promises; stunning local vineyards, rainforest walks and waterfalls, arts, crafts, and shopping in unique mountain villages.

There are tons of very good choices including the highly recommended Robinsons Family Vineyard, an award winning vineyard, due it is said to its special blend of soil and climate; and Robinsons is one of the oldest in the Granite (named after igneous) Belt area.
Since there is so much to see it would take well beyond one day to get even an idea of what’s out there.
