DARLING HARBOUR TO HOST NoMansLanding PREMIERE FOR CENTENARY OF ANZAC

Darling Harbour will host the world premiere of NoMansLanding, a large-scale installation to commemorate the Centenary of Anzac.

Inspired by the impossible stand-off of First World War trench warfare, NoMansLanding will feature floating walkways reminiscent of early 20th Century naval bridges, to be built on the opposing shores of Darling Harbour.

Darling Harbour’s program for the Centenary of Anzac will also feature a Poppy Remembrance Wall, a series of talks at the Australian National Maritime Museum and educational tours.

NoMansLanding is a collaboration between Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, Urbane Künste Ruhr/Ruhrtriennale (Germany) and Glasgow Life/Merchant City Festival (UK) and will go on show in April 2015 to mark the 100th anniversary of the troops landing at Gallipoli, Turkey.
