Sydney Promoted on Billboards & Social Media for Winter

The temperatures have dropped as winter fast approaches. Where do Australians head to holiday at this time of the year? Most tend to head north, to get closer to the equator. Tasmanian’s head to Victoria, Victorian’s head to NSW,  NSW people head to Queensland. Where do Queenslanders  head??? Destination NSW is suggesting that they do a reverse turn and head south for Winter in its latestSydney in Wintercampaign. Saturated coverage around the Eastern Seaboard of Australia and New Zealand is promoting NSW as the ideal place to head in Winter.

As well as advertising on Billboards and on other media, the latest social media, including Facebook and Twitter, is being utilised. People are invited to join the conversation and promote Sydney by posting a photograph on the Facebook wall at www.facebook.com/seesydney using #sydney. It will be interesting to see how many people do this, and what they say.

This Love Every Second billboard is located at Gold Coast Airport.

For more information about the campaign go to the Destination NSW Corporate website.

Interesting fact for the day. Did you know that the tune "Stars and Stripes Forever" has been traditionally used in the entertainment industry?  When it is played it indicates that a major emergency requires the evacuation of everyone.... This is done so that the staff know the meaning of the tune being played without the public panicking...
