The National Travel Industry Awards, known as the NTIA, will take place at the Palladium at Crown Melbourne on Saturday 10 October, bringing together travel professionals from across Australia to celebrate achievements, recognise industry excellence and mark another significant year for Australian travel.
A Record Year for the NTIA
The 2026 awards have reached new heights, with more than 21,000 votes cast and more nominations received than in any previous year.
Winners will be announced across 39 categories during the gala evening, which has established itself as a major highlight of the Australian travel industry events calendar.
The sell-out event means the Palladium at Crown Melbourne will be filled with travel professionals, finalists, sponsors and industry leaders for an evening of celebration and recognition.
A Weekend of Travel Industry Events in Melbourne
The NTIA Gala forms part of a bigger weekend of events presented by the Australian Travel Industry Association.
The program begins on Friday 9 October with the Beyond Borders Travel Summit at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The summit provides an opportunity for travel professionals to connect, learn and discuss issues shaping the future of the travel industry.
Friday evening continues with the Viking NTIA Finalist Celebration at Aerial Melbourne, giving finalists and the wider industry an opportunity to begin the weekend celebrations.
Saturday's program starts with the Wellness 5K at parkrun Albert Park before the focus turns to the NTIA Gala that evening.
Major Travel Brands Support the Awards
Singapore Airlines returns as Major Sponsor of the NTIA for the fifth consecutive year, continuing its long association with Australia's national travel industry awards.
TTC Tour Brands' Trafalgar will welcome guests as Arrival Sponsor, while Virgin Australia joins as MC Sponsor. Helloworld Travel is sponsoring the Gala entertainment and CVFR Travel Group will continue the celebrations as the official NTIA Afterparty Sponsor.
Viking returns as sponsor of the 2026 Finalist Celebration, supporting the opening night of the industry's weekend of events.
