Comfort Resort Leura Gardens has opened a new chapter in the heart of the region, offering a peaceful base to explore the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park, less than two-hours’ drive from Sydney.

Now operating under the globally recognised Comfort brand and managed by Trilogy Hotels, the resort enters a new phase of growth driven by strengthened operations and an emphasis on delivering warm, reliable service, following the recent franchise agreement between hotel owner Schwartz Family Company and Choice Hotels Asia-Pac.

Set within expansive historic gardens established in the 1920s by Lady Mabel Fairfax and renowned gardener Hector Hood, the resort blends wide-open lawns, mature trees and seasonal colour with relaxed accommodation made for romantic weekends, family breaks and celebrations.

The resort currently offers 89 rooms and will add approximately 100 additional rooms throughout 2026 to provide a broader range of room styles and price points for individuals, couples, families and groups.

In addition to room expansion, the property is undergoing comprehensive renovations. The first reveal in the resort’s transformation is its reimagined dining space. The former Olive Tree restaurant has been thoughtfully reborn as Fairways Restaurant and Bar, a warm indoor-outdoor venue designed for slow meals, good company and garden views. Leading the kitchen is accomplished head chef Emilio Llausas, renowned for infusing his Filipino heritage into stunning modern cuisine utilising seasonal produce and locally sourced ingredients.
