With the WAMA Art Prize exhibition entering its final weeks, now is the time to visit, vote and acquire works before the exhibition closes on 8 March 2026.

CURRENT EXHIBITION: WAMA ART PRIZE 2025

Finalist Exhibition | Closes 8 March 2026

Presented in Australia’s first National Centre for Environmental Art, the WAMA Art Prize showcases 54 finalist works selected from more than 450 entries from across the country.

Now in its third edition, the biennial prize has established itself as a significant platform for artists deeply engaged with the natural world. Dedicated to environmental art, the exhibition spans drawing, printmaking, collage, sculpture and experimental works on or with paper.

Importantly, with the exception of the Major Acquisitive Prize winner, all finalist artworks are available for purchase.

Digital catalogues are available online, offering collectors and first-time buyers the opportunity to explore and acquire museum-quality environmental art exhibited within Australia’s first National Centre for Environmental Art.

Visitors are invited to participate in the People’s Choice Award , voting either in person or online. Voting closes 23 February 2026, with the winning artist to receive $2,500. Three voters will also receive a WAMA Prize Pack. The winner will be announced on 27 February 2026.

The exhibition runs until 8 March 2026 and can be viewed online at wama.au.
