Pride in Full Bloom: Your 2025 Guide to LA Pride in Los Angeles

LA Pride
Where History Marches On

Los Angeles stands proudly as a trailblazer in LGBTQ+ rights and visibility. From the early protests at the Black Cat bar in Silver Lake in 1967 to the first-ever permitted gay rights parade in 1970, LA's legacy of pride and protest has helped shape the global movement. Today, that legacy continues with a dazzling, inclusive celebration that spans the entire month of June.

The LA Pride Parade & Village – A Hollywood Celebration

Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 8, 2025, when the 55th Annual LA Pride Parade steps off at 11am. Beginning at Sunset and Highland, the route winds through the heart of Hollywood in a celebration filled with music, dance, and powerful community representation. This year’s Grand Marshals include beloved entertainers Niecy Nash and Jessica Betts, stage and screen star Andrew Rannells, and local heroes Trino Garcia and Adam Vasquez.

At the same time, LA Pride Village transforms the streets into a free, open-air festival with two performance stages, 100+ vendors, full-service bars, and the thrilling “Ballroom Battle,” featuring top houses from the vogue scene in front of celebrity judges. It’s a day not to miss.

Pride Beyond the Parade – Events Across Los Angeles

The citywide celebration doesn't end with the parade. On June 13, the LA Dodgers host their annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night, complete with a pre-game party, special ticket package, and a limited-edition jersey. That same evening, the Philosophical Research Society in Los Feliz throws it back with a Mustache Mondays Celebration — a tribute to one of LA’s most iconic queer club nights, complete with film, panel, and a dance floor revival.

Screenings With Spirit – Movies That Move

LA Pride
Film lovers are in for a treat. The Rooftop Cinema Club screens cult classics like To Wong Foo (June 4) and The Birdcage (June 29), each night preceded by drag performances. Meanwhile, The Autry in Griffith Park screens A League of Their Own on June 21 in partnership with PRIDE HOUSE, complete with food trucks and surprise guests.

On June 14, Cinespia at Hollywood Forever celebrates the 30th anniversary of Showgirls in classic outdoor style. And for true cinephiles, the Academy Museum offers a look back with short films from the underground Gay Girls Riding Club on June 21 and themed puppet workshops for families throughout the month.

WeHo Pride & OUTLOUD Music Festival – June Starts Loud and Proud

West Hollywood’s Pride Parade on June 1 kicks off Pride Month with bold, vibrant energy. Don’t miss the OUTLOUD Music Festival at West Hollywood Park from May 31 to June 1, featuring big names like Lizzo, Kim Petras, Paris Hilton, and Maren Morris.

Art, Culture, and Glamour – More Pride Must-Sees

Jeffrey Gibson’s landmark exhibit The Space in Which to Place Me is on view at The Broad, weaving together Indigenous, queer, and American identities through powerful installations. And on June 13, The Huntington Library hosts its elegant Evening Among the Roses, an upscale garden party celebrating LGBTQ+ contributors with cocktails, music, and performances from the Gay Men’s Chorus of LA.

Dance, Sing, Celebrate – It’s Your Pride

LA Pride
That same chorus returns for their energetic Dancing Queens concerts on June 21–22 at the Saban Theatre, performing hits from Broadway to disco. With over 200 singers and special guests like Kristine W and Bruce Villanch, it’s set to be a showstopper.

Whether you're watching classic films under the stars, voguing in the village, or dancing beneath the roses, LA Pride 2025 invites you to celebrate love, identity, and community in all its vibrant forms.
