With more than 400 buyers representing 22 international markets and over 800 sellers from 500 Canadian tourism organizations, RVC 2025 exceeded expectations. The event facilitated over 50,000 pre-scheduled appointments between buyers and sellers, driving future tourism business across every province and territory. Filmed on 35mm to capture a documentary-style feel, the campaign emphasizes how natural beauty, kindness, and wonder are deeply ingrained in Canadian life.This new identity aims to set Canada apart by focusing on meaningful, slower-paced experiences, whether it’s sharing a lakeside conversation, hiking beneath ancient trees, or simply enjoying a quiet sunrise in a small-town café. It's a shift from spectacle to sincerity—designed to resonate with travellers seeking connection, culture, and calm.
Looking Ahead to Toronto 2026
As the curtains close on this successful Winnipeg edition, the tourism industry already has its eyes on next year’s event. Toronto will host Rendez-vous Canada 2026, promising another powerful platform for building partnerships and promoting Canadian destinations.In anticipation of RVC 2026, Destination Toronto has also announced the opening of new international offices in the U.K. and Germany. These offices will expand the city’s global tourism reach and help attract more international leisure and business travellers to Canada’s largest urban hub.
