Non Nuoc Cao Bang Tourism Festival in Ha Noi was an opportunity for the locality to promote and introduce to the people of Ha Noi Capital, domestic and international tourists about the land, people and culture of ethnic groups in Cao Bang Province (North of Vietnam).
At the same time, this was also a chance to introduce new tourism products, promote linkages and cooperation in tourism development with localities and travel businesses, contributing to preserving traditional culture.
The festival took place with many activities to promote tourism and local culture, including performing and displaying Ao Dai fashion collections about Non Nuoc Cao Bang, Non Nuoc Cao Bang silk scarves; performance of excerpts from the San Chi ethnic honor ceremony (Bao Lac district); Nang Hai Festival (Quang Hoa district); performance of traditional costumes of the Tay, Nung, Mong, Dao, Lo Lo, San Chi ethnic groups; and Cao Bang folk art; displaying beautiful photos about Cao Bang Tourism, Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark; demonstration of traditional crafts such as making Tinh music instruments and Nung hats, embroidering and printing with beeswax patterns, weaving, forging knives…
The organizing board also set up 10 booths displaying and introducing tourism, unique cultural and culinary products of 10 districts and cities of Cao Bang province. Of which, 2 booths introduced publications about tourist attractions, potential tourist destinations, and ethnic cultures; heritage, geology, geomorphology in the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark area and distribute tourism gifts.
There were also 6 booths processing and displaying traditional culinary dishes of Cao Bang province, 3 - 4 star OCOP products and local products.
Besides, there was also a book stall "Learn about Non Nuoc Cao Bang" displaying books about culture, identity, landmarks, and history of Cao Bang province.
On Dinh Tien Hoang streets and Hoan Kiem Lake walking area, sports activities and folk games also took place.
Within the framework of the festival, the province also organized the promotion program "Non Nuoc Cao Bang - Wonderland" on 8 December 2023. This was an opportunity for Cao Bang to meet, exchange, introduce and promote Non Nuoc Cao Bang tourism to press agencies, tourism and travel businesses, and tourism associations.
